Sony's Smartwatch 3 lands on Google Play Store for $249 

 

Signaling an imminent launch, Sony's upcoming Smartwatch 3 just appeared on the Google Play Store. The sporty yet altogether disappointing Android Wear device is listed at $249.99, putting it on par with the rest of the competition, but there still isn't a firm release date.
The Smartwatch 3 was announced at IFA last month. Waterproof but inelegant, the device doesn't make a terribly strong showing as compared to the Moto 360. Still, Sony fans should keep an eye out for an official release date if they want to pick one up.
